Sometimes data and information leaks occur due to poorly set internal security processes or insufficiently secured infrastructure and applications at our clients. Even if these areas are perfectly configured, there is still a risk of data leakage caused by employees' careless use of company devices or careless use of their own devices (PCs, tablets, phones). This includes uploading of data to unsecured locations on the internet, whether from home or other locations outside the company. As part of social engineering, we teach employees to recognize and these risks and practice secure behaviour.

DLAP is our own solution for active data protection. Using our own tools and sophisticated algorithms and robots, we monitor potential leaks of sensitive company data, documents and information, including those subject to regulations such as GDPR, Cybersecurity Act and others.

The system periodically scans the Internet for this data. It includes public repositories (domestic and foreign), indexed documents and mentions in various Internet search engines, both on public and private communication platforms. In addition, the system monitors the documents that are stored on the client's website and tracks the metadata of these documents. It also checks for open repository links. In addition, it indexes darknet content that may contain sensitive client information, both from our own sources and using third-party APIs.

All these files and links are then indexed within the DLAP solution. Each case found is matched against client keywords and then semi-automatically logged in the client dashboard. DLAP indexes the content of documents and the archives where these documents are stored. We support a wide range of document formats including xlsx, xls, doc, docx, pptx, ppt, pdf, txt, csv, odt, pst, eml, msg, rar, zip, 7z and many more.

Keywords serve as unique identifiers for maximum identification of relevant files. These keywords include company names, product names, identifying information, addresses, domains, slang terms, abbreviations and more.
